Right at the beginning of the show, Barbara Schöneberger sang her intro at her premiere – but the TV viewer couldn’t hear anything.

That sounded like a false start! This appearance should mark a new big chapter in her TV career. But in her first “Do you understand fun?” show on Saturday evening, Barbara Schöneberger (48) lost her voice.
Even during the show intro with dancers and playback to the musical opener of the evening (title: “This Is The Greatest Show”), the television viewers heard next to nothing. Only shortly before the end of her debut performance could Schöneberger be heard again.
On the other hand, those who watched the show in the stream didn’t notice anything up to this point: the song, including Schöneberger’s singing voice, could be heard perfectly.
However, the moderator then fell silent on all channels and chatted away silently for minutes. The reason: total loss of sound! The problem was only solved after around four minutes, and the 48-year-old could be heard perfectly again.

Meanwhile, the Twitter community was amused by the mega glitch. “The sound engineer can pack his bags directly,” tweeted one user, another commented: “Biggest innovation under Barbara Schöneberger: the sound is saved.”
Schöneberger is the first female successor to “Do you understand fun?” veteran Paola Felix (71), wife of the late Kurt Felix († 71). He had invented the show in 1980 and made it a ratings hit with a lot of wit.
