Minttu, 22, resigned because of the “Huippumalli haussa” competition

The contestants of the new Suomen Huippumalli haussa season were announced on Tuesday, August 2. One of the competitors of the starting season is from Helsinki Mint22. She made a big decision when she applied to the Finnish top model haussa competition.

– I was in a clothing store in the center of Helsinki. When this opportunity came up, I decided that I’d take the plunge and quit my job right away and jump into this world. I hope this will go a long way, says Minttu.

Minttu says that customer service work no longer felt like her thing, but she wanted to finally start realizing her dreams in the fashion industry.

– It was a good decision.

Mintu was also surprised by the intensity of the competition and modeling work.

– I’ve always enjoyed being alone, so it was really hard to suddenly be really social and there are 13 other competitors in the same apartment. That was the hardest part, says Minttu.

Big sister as a model on TV

Lives in Sipoo Marie19, applied to the competition encouraged by his sister.

– He sent me a link and said that “you have to apply”, says Marie.

– I love fashion more than anything, and my mother has been buying me Vogue magazines since I was 13 years old. I felt that I had to even apply, says Marie.

Marie says that her sister, who is 11 years older, has also done modeling when she was her age.

– He does modeling these days as a hobby, but I follow in his footsteps. Otherwise, I would certainly never have ended up doing modeling.

– My sister was once Mert Otsamo’s model when Otsamo competed in the Muodin huipupille series.

Marie was also surprised when making the program “Huippumalli haussa” by how hard a model’s work can be and how long the shooting days are.
