Telstar is still unbeaten in preparation for the new season. After previous victories against VV IJmuiden, Stormvogels and HV Hollandia, the amateurs of RKVV DEM were put aside today. On a visit to the neighbor in Beverwijk it became 1-0.
It was very hot at the DEM complex in Beverwijk and that did not always benefit the game of both teams. Derdevivisionist DEM offered a good match against Mike Snoei’s team. At Telstar, Christos Giousis and Youssef El Kachati started at the point of the attack. Both players failed to become really dangerous during the game.
Hit out of a corner
The audience in Beverwijk therefore had to wait a long time for a goal. It was defender Jorginho Soares who headed from a corner kick and was able to sign for the 1-0 final score.
Telstar’s next exhibition game is coming soon. ADO’20, which was promoted to the second division last season, comes to visit in its own stadium. Kick-off in Velsen-Zuid is at 8 p.m.
