The minor was able to escape around half past eight on Thursday morning over the fence of the closed youth institution. A search was immediately launched, but it was not immediately successful. The description of the underage man was distributed to all police services and he was signaled. In this way, the fugitive was spotted in Ghent in the night from Thursday to Friday. The teenager was then placed again in De Grubbe, but there he took off again on Saturday morning around 9.38 am. The police are searching with all their might. “But that has not yet led to a result,” confirms police spokesman Nick Gyselinck of the HerKo zone.
