Ministers round the table again at 5 pm: Jambon makes “constructive” compromise proposal on child benefits, but CD&V receives “no extra euro” | Inland

N-VA and Open Vld have provided CD&V with a new compromise proposal on the increase in child benefit. But that new so-called “constructive” proposal is mainly an adjustment of their previous offer and does not come with an extra euro, while that was a clear demand from CD&V. The message that N-VA in particular is now trying to put on the market is clear: they have gone too far and we are not giving in. It’s two against one.
