As a student he once ended up in a police cell for several hours, but four days under lock and key was also a new experience for Minister of Justice Vincent Van Quickenborne (49, Open Old). Straight to Prison on Play4 is set in Haren’s new, modern prison. A promo clip for Justice? Perhaps so, but the minister was also strengthened in his conviction: justice must be stricter and faster, but above all more humane.
