Minister of Development Cooperation Meryame Kitir (Vooruit) will travel to the Palestinian territories from Monday for a five-day working visit. Palestine has been one of the partner countries for Belgian development cooperation for more than twenty years. By visiting the area now, the minister wants to demonstrate that -despite the war in Ukraine- Belgium has not forgotten the Palestinians.
