All 12 provinces have made provincial housing agreements with Minister Hugo de Jonge for Housing and Spatial Planning. The number of new homes that will be delivered is determined per province. The agreements add up to over 900,000 new homes for the period up to and including 2030. 2 out of 3 new homes fall into the affordable category. With the provincial housing construction agreements, the provinces are embracing the cabinet’s construction ambitions, which are also laid down in the Housing Construction Programme.
