Minister Crevits is launching a new vaccination campaign

They will receive their new corona shot by tonight. Vaccination is recommended for about 2 million Flemish people who are vulnerable or work in healthcare. (read more below the photo)

“We expect a peak in the number of corona infections at the end of October and it is therefore important that vulnerable people, such as people living in residential care centers, are vaccinated. It is recommended that people over 65 or people with underlying conditions such as heart disease or lung disease definitely get vaccinated. And we already have a total of 2.8 million vaccines available. There is certainly enough for everyone,” says Hilde Crevits.

There will be no more large vaccination centers as there were in the previous vaccination waves. You can get vaccinated at your GP, but you can also go to 1 in 3 pharmacies. Or at home nursing. The corona shot is free, with the flu shot you have to add a particle yourself.
