One of the agreements in that agreement was the increase in the so-called guaranteed average minimum monthly income (GGMMI) in various phases. The first step is for April.
It was initially announced that the minimum wage would rise to 1,702 euros per month. But since then it has already been indexed several times, so that in practice it is increased to 1,806.16 euros.
In April 2024 and 2026, an additional EUR 35 gross will be added each time. And a fourth increase in the minimum wage is possible in April 2028.
