The Kölner Haie’s mini winning streak in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) has already come to an end.
The eight-time German champions lost 4:5 (2:2, 0:2, 2:1) to the Iserlohn Roosters after two victories without conceding a goal and slipped down to tenth place. Iserlohn, meanwhile, celebrated their second win of the season after six defeats in a row.
Nicholas Bailen (3rd) and Carter Proft (17th) put the Haie in the lead twice, Andreas Thuresson (54th) and Alexander Oblinger (59th) both shortened.
Eric Cornel (13th), Ryan O’Connor (18th), John Broda (29th), Kristopher Foucault (34th) and Lean Bergmann (57th) shot the hosts to victory.
