Mini nuclear power station is as small as an SME. But is safety guaranteed?

The future of power supply looks more nuclear than ever. Before the end of this decade, a revolutionary new mini-nuclear power plant will be commissioned in Canada. The BWRX-300 would even fit on the average Flemish industrial estate. Poland, Great Britain and Sweden also have plans to build there, while our country is cautiously showing interest. But how exactly do such ‘mini plants’ work? How much power can they provide? And most importantly: are they safe?
