It was the worst day of his career. Fox captain Paul Drux (28) tore his Achilles tendon in the international handball match in Sweden. Now there are images of hope.

Drux trains again with a special shoe from Switzerland (650 euros). It’s only been five weeks since his surgery.

Drux: “It makes me look a bit like a motorcyclist. But with this leather shoe I can train in the weight room. The only thing that’s a bit annoying is that the shoe weighs around three kilos.”

But: The shoe relieves the operated tendon.

There are tough months of rehab ahead of Drux: “I’m fine, but of course there have also been lows in the last few weeks. But with my wife and my daughter (Linda and Maila/7 months old, ed.) I have a nice distraction at home.”
