The ex-azulgrana has recovered from the fibrillar tear in the rectus femoris of the right thigh
The losses in Celta’s defense could force Carvalhal to give him the title against Valencia
In his best moment of the season, an injury forced Óscar Mingueza to stopwho on February 18 in San Sebastián, against Real Sociedad, suffered a fibrillar tear in the rectus femoris of the right thigh which has kept it in dry dock for almost three months.
At the beginning of April he was ready to play against Almería again, but two days before, in training, he relapsed from his injury and had to return to the starting box again.
In the last work sessions, however, the sensations of the defender have been great and everything indicates that he will return to the pitch this Sunday against Valencia.
The ex-azulgrana’s participation seems essential because of the casualties that Carlos Carvalhal has in his rear, with Aidoo and Javi Galán sanctioned.
The arrival of the Portuguese coach in Balaídos is precisely what made Mingueza take off this season, since with Coudet on the bench he started counting but later he lost weight. It seems like a good time to restore that confidence.
