In the 8th week of Basketball BKT European Cup Group B, Türk Telekom lost 86-67 away to France’s Mincidelice JL Bourg team.
The home team played effectively in the first period of the match at Ekinoks Sports Hall and finished the quarter ahead by 14 points, 22-8.
Starting the second period with a 9-0 run, Türk Telekom reduced the difference to 5 points (22-17) in the 13th minute. After this minute, the home team reopened the gap with its good play and went to the locker room with an 18-point lead, 43-25.
Starting the third period effectively, Türk Telekom reduced the difference to 10 points (48-38) in the 27th minute with its solid defense and high-percentage shooting. Türk Telekom Head Coach Selçuk Ernak, who objected to a position at this minute, was expelled from the match after the second technical foul. Continuing its good play, Türk Telekom reduced the difference to 3 in the match where it fell behind by 18 points. The third period ended with the home team leading 54-51.
Mincidelice JL Bourg, which started the final period well and continued its effective play from the beginning to the end of the quarter, won the match by 19 points, 86-67.
With this result, Türk Telekom suffered its 7th defeat in the organization. Mincidelice JL Bourg achieved its 6th victory.
