A tech billionaire Elon Musk’s owned by X-messaging service (formerly Twitter) deleted all images that were uploaded to the service before December 2014 due to a bug. The problem caused several users to become obsessed with the service.

– Epic vandalism from Musk, the technology influencer Tom Coates stated.

According to the Guardian the failure of the message service was preceded by connection problems when switching from X’s service to another. It was difficult to access, for example, the services of competitor Meta and several news websites.

Coates and several other users of the service think that the “error” was related to the company’s means of saving money. X has faced several financial challenges since Musk decided to buy the service last year.

– The sad truth is that there are no more “great social networks”. We may fail, as many have predicted, but we will do our best, Musk stated in a message sent to his service.

The Wall Street Journal reported in February that the service also had more than 14 million unpaid invoices, due to which the service is being taken to court.
