With his goal in the final phase of the topper, Oscar Gloukh Ajax shot to a point in Eindhoven. The Israeli who was purchased for 15 million euros last summer is not sure of a base place in his first weeks.
Gloukh came to the team of the Amsterdammers at the start of the second half, because of the injured failure of Kasper Dolberg. In a free role, the Israeli showed his best side with dribbles and making the 2-2 in the 88th minute: his first in Ajax’s shirt.
With a lot of bombing, Gloukh was taken over from the Austrian RB Salzburg last summer, but the creative football player did not really impress. “It is never easy to get to a new club. I don’t like to sit on the couch, but we have a strong selection,” said Gloukh at the press conference afterwards.
Ajax coach John Heitinga was positive about the game of his team, which has been a lot of criticism in recent weeks. “The game was much better weather, this time also in the second half.”
According to Heitinga, the 2-2 result was a justified result. “I think the boys deserve it too.” He also gave his team compliments for the resilience shown: Ajax came back twice from a backlog.
