The trailer for the movie about the story of the dancers Robert Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan, aka Milli Vanilli, has been released.
Simon Verhoeven’s (“Männerherzen”, “Unfriend”) “Girl You Know It’s True” stars Tijan Njie and Elan Ben Ali as Robert Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan as well as Matthias Schweighöfer as Milli-Vanilli producer Frank Farian. The work opens in German cinemas on December 21, 2023.

Milli Vanilli was a disco pop duo produced by Frank Farian. It consisted of Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus. The duo’s great success ended in scandal in 1990 when it was revealed that they had not sung any of their songs themselves. John Davis was the real voice behind the band – he died of Corona in 2021 at the age of 66. Robert Pilatus also died in April 1998 at the age of 32.
