In the last one of the season The rich and the penniless in the episode they meet Jana and Panu Villanen mixed Milla Tamminen. Jaana works as a value strategist and Milla, on the other hand, implements responsible values by recycling. Milla is currently unemployed and the lack of money is very tangible in the family’s everyday life.
Milla says that at the end of the month, she always has to think about “where to get food for the table”.
– In a way, I have drifted into such a cycle that when I run out of money at some point in the month, I have to borrow money from friends. Then what will tax the budget on the money day, when of course they have to be paid back.
– If there was even one month where you didn’t have to borrow money, maybe you could manage without borrowing, at least for food. But when you have to get food, then you have to borrow that money.
Milla’s teenage daughter is participating in the exchange week Exciting. The duo gets a budget of 1,500 euros for the exchange week. Already counting the sum, Milla’s voice starts to shake and soon she bursts into tears.
– This is more money than I have in three months. That’s a lot for me. I’m really happy with that money, confused but happy, Milla sighs.
It is immediately clear to him what is most important during the exchange week.
– What I’m looking forward to the most is being able to make Janna’s wishes come true.
