Sergej Milinković-Savić has extended his contract with Al-Hilal for two more years until 2028. The 30-year-old midfielder moved to Saudi Arabia for 40 million euros in 2023 after eight years at Lazio. Including bonuses, Milinković-Savić is said to earn up to 30 million euros a year at Al-Hilal – at Lazio it was reportedly just 3.2 million euros net before his transfer.
Milinković-Savić “showed outstanding performances with the team and, together with his teammates, contributed to winning five titles for Al-Hilal,” said a club statement. “In addition, Sergei played a key role in Al-Hilal’s remarkable results at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where the team advanced to the quarter-finals.”
Since his arrival, veteran Milinković-Savić has contributed 31 goals and 27 assists in 105 games. Due to his move to a weaker league and his advancing age, his market value gradually fell from 50 million to 17 million euros, which still makes him one of the top 20 most valuable players in the Saudi Pro League.
