It was not until Tuesday (March 25th) that Miley Cyrus will publish her ninth album Something Beautiful on May 30th. Just a day later, the singer announced that she would like to have much more than just an ordinary plate to offer. The first video material should provide information.
Release as a pop opera
On her YouTube account, the 32-year-old posted the “Official Trailer 1” for the upcoming publication and gave her fans the first indication of what would come to her. The video promises that Something Beautiful is not only something for the ears, but also a “unique visual experience”. The 13 songs of the new LP are to be presented as a “unique pop opera”. The corresponding film to the album is said to appear a little later, in June.
If you take care of the new trailer, you can hear song excerpts that are probably part of the new work. In the meantime you can see the musician how she strolls and dances through film sets and stages. In the end, Cyrus whispers: “If I break some bodies between us, would you promise that I would be enough if I give you all my love?”
What was known so far
Already in November 2024 there was first information about the new record. In an interview with “Harper’s Bazaar”, the former Disney star told her next album by Pink Floyds LP The Wall, “but with a better wardrobe and glamorous and full of pop culture”.
Somehing Beautiful was produced by Miley Cyrus in cooperation with Shawn Everett and is said to include 13 songs. A tracklist or first single release are currently not known.
