When Silvina Soria joined La Libertad Avanza was national news. It made sense: his own biography drew attention. She had been a piquetera during the social outbreak of 2001, and then she became famous on the networks for her modeling of erotic content and the sale of that material that she makes on platforms like OnlyFans. Earlier this year it was confirmed that she would be one of the familiar faces of the libertarian space in Avellaneda, but it was an adventure that ended badly. “They asked for 60 thousand dollars to be a candidate for mayor, it is all dark, very tricky”, now denounces Soria, in dialogue with NEWS.
The militant says that she left the space because of these spurious dealings, and because when she began to raise her voice, anonymous threats began to reach her. It is a modus operandi that is repeated in La Libertad Avanza throughout the country: the most important candidacies are for sale, while the militants on foot are running away. In the case of Soria, she recounts that she was an eyewitness when, at a meeting at the beginning of the year, the Avellaneda shipowners, Arnaldo Diaz, Carlos Curestis and Miriam Niveyro -appointed by sebastian couple, the one who pulls the strings throughout Buenos Aires on behalf of Milei-, told how the lists were going to be put together in the elections. “To be mayor they asked for 60 thousand dollarsand to be councilors or school counselors they also asked for money in dollars”, says the leader now.
According to Soria’s account, she expressed her displeasure with that way of proceeding from minute zero. “I thought that it was going to be ordered based on knowledge, militancy, meritocracy, but no. Here it’s all for money”, he says, and points out that there was never a clear campaign strategy, nor an intention to do so. From that moment on, she began to receive anonymous threats to incite her to stop participating in LLA public events in Avellaneda. “I’m sure it was them, the owners.”
Soria’s complaints do not stop there. He also says that the premises where they held the meetings were “lent” to him by a former PRO leader, and now close to Peronism, Ruben alicea man who in 2014 murdered his own mother in a confusing episode and that now has complaints of gender violence. He also reveals that at one point the Avellaneda shipowners commissioned him to “go ask for money” from businessmen and militants, and that for that they gave him the data of a foundation, “Deportes Electrónicos”, which according to his complaint served to launder money. . “It’s all weird. If the money is for the campaign, why don’t we do it officially, through Banco Nación? ”, he wonders.
Silvina Soria: I left the space for these things, because one wants to walk down the quiet street, and that’s not how politics is done. All very well with Milei -and also with RAmiro Marra, who is a gentleman-, but you cannot be a candidate for president if in the Cornuban you cannot put good or credible candidates, common people, hardworking.
