AND all ready for the next edition of Milan Fashion Week. The women’s fashion shows Autumn Winter 2024/2025 I’m coming from 20 to 26 February 2024as revealed by the official calendar presented on the morning of February 7th with a press conference chaired by Carlo Capasapresident of Camera Moda.
The data gives us hope. And there are many new things that await us, with good three debuts at the creative direction highly anticipated: Moschino, Tod’s And Blumarine. Who is coming and who is going, the big protagonists and how to see and follow the fashion shows for those who are not part of the circle of professionals: here all the news from the Milan Fashion Week of February 2024.
The numbers of this edition
«Italian fashion is performing excellently in Italy and abroad, with 60/70% of the world’s luxury goods produced in the Peninsula» begins Capasa. Milan is preparing to welcome the fashion week, and estimates already speak of growth in terms of attendance in the city of over +10% compared to last year. Numbers that far exceed pre-covid data: 100 thousand visitors expectedwho are preparing to participate in well 161 appointments. In fact, the calendar to date includes 56 physical fashion shows, 2 of which are double, 5 digital shows, 67 presentations7 presentations by appointment and 26 events, spread over (just) 6 days.

Milan Fashion Week February 2024: the dates
The official calendar is clear. THE big namesthey are all confirmed: the February 2024 Milan Fashion Week calendar opens Iceberg on Wednesday 21 February, followed by Fendi And Etro. Once again Glenn Martens opens the show Diesel to the public, who will be able to access the eticket through an online registration process starting February 9th at 12pm on the site.
The 22nd is Max Mara day, Prada, Tom Ford. On February 23rd, the protagonist is the fashion show Gucci by Sabato De Sarno at 3pm, while in the evening there will be a parade Versace; on the 24th, eyes on Ferragamo, Dolce&Gabbana And Bottega Veneta. And as always it’s up to Giorgio Armani close on Sunday 25th: the 26th is destined for online fashion showsfor which Annakiki also opts in this edition.
Debut names and anniversaries
The wait for the debuts as creative director of three big local brands: starting from Adrian Appiolaza, which will fill the position left vacant by Moschino following the premature death of Davide Renne. The first fashion show signed by the designer is scheduled for the evening of February 22. The morning of the 23rd will see two other protagonists parade one after the other: Matteo Tamburini in the role of creative director of Tod’s And Walter Chiapponi as creative director of Blumarine.
Among the brands that will show for the first time at the Milan Women’s Fashion Week in February 2024, the creative duo of Febenthe latest emerging Maison supported by Dolce&Gabbana as part of its project aimed at supporting young talents, e Sagaboi, a men’s brand founded in 2015 by Geoff K. Coope. Between official returns, Marniwho returns to the city on February 23rd after Grand Tour which saw her travel from New York to Tokyo to Paris – the best way to celebrate 30 years on the scene. Upon returning to the official schedule, too Elisabetta Franchi.
Between the presentations of the Milan Fashion Week in February 2024, for the first time the brands Cozy Sunday, Jarelzhang, l’italiana appear on the calendar Khrisjoy (who dressed Ricchi e Poveri on the Green Carpet of the Sanremo Festival), Maison Jejia, Raisa Vanessa.
And also three international co-labs designed by the Max Mara group: Marina Rinaldy By Zuhair Murad, Max&Co With Richard Quinn and Weekend Max Mara By Lucy Hale.
The absences
Who’s missing? Primarily, The Atticwhich after its debut on the Milan Fashion Week calendar last September 2023 is taking a break which is rather a strategy, that of see now buy now, with one collection per year presented at the same time as the release in store. They don’t even appear at the moment Aigner And Bossfollowed by Cormio, Act N°1and Andreadamoas well as other brands that emerged at MFW in past editions, such as Han Kjøbenhavn.
Side events
February 20th remains as usual – at least until the next announcement from Camera Moda – the day dedicated to opening and at press conferences, We start with Including Diversity, organized together with the National Anti-Racial Discrimination Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and African Fashion Gate. The presentation will follow Masters of Excellence Awardlaunched by Lvmh, Loro Piana and Confartigianto, dedicated to the most talented artisans in Italy. The Prato Fabric Museum will present the exhibition instead Walter Albini. The talent, the stylistedited by Daniela Degl’Innocenti and Enrica Morini.
And to kick off the MFW dance will be theopening of the Fashion Hub of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion at Palazzo Giureconsulti, in Piazza dei Mercanti (which will also remain open to the public during the days of the event): protagonist, the sustainable project Designers For The Planet, now in its 8th edition. Off the calendar, the parade will also be held on February 20th Twin setwhich goes on the catwalk for the first time.
While on February 22nd the brand Viviers will hold his presentation at Starbucks Roastery. On the 23rd the appointment is with the fashion show of three Chinese brands as part of Shenzhen Futian Fashionanother new addition to the calendar, followed on Sunday 25 February by Pre Black Carpet Awards.
How to see the Milan Fashion Week 2024 fashion shows
All the fashion shows on the calendar can still be followed on milanofashionweek.cameramoda.itthe platform launched during the pandemic. «The first digital fashion week in the world, with 1 million users» underlines Capasa. The site will also host a section dedicated to virtual showrooms, which will remain active even after the event. The week’s appointments will be amplified in China continental thanks to the international streaming partner Tencent Video, while Urban Vision will broadcast the fashion shows live in the key points of Milan (and within the Fashion Hub). Furthermore, thanks to the Video Channel Partners, Fashion Channel and Asahi Shimbun it will be possible to view the contents of the Fashion Week in playback on YouTube and in Japan respectively.
