Lto Milan Fashion Week Fall Winter 2022/2023 is upon us. The edition dedicated to women’s fashion shows, created with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE-Agenzia, will take place from 22 to 28 February 2022, with most of the fashion shows live. The new names at the debut
Among the new debuts (and new names) on the catwalk, a series of brands present for the first time in the calendar of the Milan Fashion Week Women’s Collection: AC9 by Antonio Tarantini, Ambush – founded in 2008 by the Korean-born couple Yoon and Verbal, Andreadamo, Aniye Records, Cormio, Ferrari, Hans Kjøbenhavn, Husky, Palm Angels And Tokyo James.
Valentinoas announced at the beginning of the year by Pierpaolo Piccioli, will host the show of Marco Rambaldi, scheduled for February 23, to give it maximum visibility: the first step of a project that will be renewed at every fashion week; while Miss Sohee will be supported by Dolce & Gabbana with a presentation.
Side events
Among the events that will animate Milan Fashion Week extra paradeson February 27 the screening of documentary dedicated to Elio Fiorucci, Free spiritat the Triennale, as part of the Fashion Film Festival (originally scheduled during Milano Moda Uomo in January). Bulgarians will host the Bulgari B.Zero1 Avrora Awards – Celebrating women and their talent at Bocconi University on the same evening, while trade fairs such as White (at the Mudec museum from 24 to 27 February) e Lineapelle (from 22 to 24).
The main event is the opening of Fashion Hub in a new location within theADI Design Museum at the opening of fashion week, this year dedicated not only to the project We are made in Italy (WAMI collective) which gives visibility to 5 color designers, but also to the 1st edition of Designers for Ethical Fashion: a section dedicated to the theme of fashion ethics and social, with a particular focus on disadvantaged women and victims of violence, migrants and refugees. The 5th edition of the project is also back Designer for the Planetwhich sees brands such as Vernisse and Raree Show.
And Italian fashion also helps foreign designers, with the 7th edition of Budapest select: the collective parade is also foreseen on February 26th. Finally, the Camera Buyer award for young designers from the Fashion Hub, with collateral projects Fashion Bridges And Inclusive Backstage.
