Milan drop points again

AC Milan have dropped points again in the pursuit of their first league title in 11 years.

The Serie A leaders only drew 1-1 (1-0) against Udinese Calcio, city rivals and defending champions Inter Milan have played two games less and could outperform Milan again with wins.

Rafael Leao (29′) gave the hosts the lead, which, like the recent 2-2 draw at bottom side US Salernitana, did not bring them home. Because Milan no longer consistently pushed for the second goal, Udinese remained within striking distance – Destiny Udogie (66th) managed to equalize.
