Mikko Rantanen was chosen as the NHL player of the week.

The Finnish forward of the Colorado Avalanche scored a whopping seven (3+4) points in his two games last week, one of which was the winning goal.

Rantanen, who has been in great shape, has scored 23 (10+13) power points in 13 matches this season.

The NHL chose the Boston Bruins goalie as the second star of the week Linus Ullmark’s. The Swedish striker saved three wins for the Bruins with a save percentage of 95.6.

The three-star was a defenseman for the New York Rangers Adam Fox. In four matches, he scored two goals and provided six assists leading to goals.
