The Colorado Avalanche have signed a one-year contract Tomas Tatarin, 32, with. The value of the contract is a fairly moderate 1.5 million dollars.
– He is a veteran winger who brings depth and power to our middle chains. He can also perform at both ends of the court, Avalanche GM Chris MacFarland describes.
Last season, the winger played 82 regular season games for the New Jersey Devils, where he had a nice performance of 20+28=48. The power statistic was no less than 41 degrees plus.
In the playoffs Tatari’s pace froze again, as the balance of 12 matches was 1+0 and -7. Similar spring dips have been common in Tatar.
Detroit Red Wings booked him in 2009 at the NHL draft with number 60. In addition to Detroit and New Jersey, Tatar has represented the Montreal Canadiens and Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL.
Finns play in Colorado Mikko Rantanen, Artturi Lehkonen and a fighter with a try out contract Joel Kiviranta.
The NHL season starts on 10.10.
