The Colorado Avalanche took their first win in the second round of the NHL playoffs from the St. Louis Blues. The winning goal in extra time struck Josh Mansonafter eight minutes.
Mikko Rantanen scored one pass in the match.
St. Louis took the lead after just over six minutes of play when Ryan O’Reilly got the bouncy puck and passed the Colorado guard Darcy Kuemperin.
Avalanche equalized the game from a loose puck fired by Rantanen that came straight Valery Nichushkin shoulder.
Samuel Girard took Colorado to the lead with a ruler that overtook the Blues goal Ville Husson displaced Jordan Binnington.
By superiority Blues striker Jordan Kyrou pulled two Avalanche players just three minutes before the end of the regular season.
