Played almost 300 games in the SM League Mikko Nuutinen said on Instagram on Thursday that the man will have to end his career as a professional hockey player.

– Congenital heart disease found in studies prevents career progression. The desire for a trough would still be strong, but the risk to health is too great and the end of a career other than one’s own will is a big disappointment, Nuutinen writes.

Nuutinen had a contract with HK Dukla Michalovce from Slovakia for this season, but the man did not play a game for the team.

Last season, Nuutinen knocked out 49 (18 + 31) points in the regular season game in the regular season in the Slovak HKM Zvole. The season ended in the championship, and Nuutinen balance handsome 6 + 9 = 15 in 14 playoff games.

In the Finnish Championships, Nuutinen represented KalPaa for eight seasons. In his last league season (2019–2020), the man served as the deputy skipper for his team.

In the regular season of the Finnish Championship, Nuutinen played 295 games at 44 + 80 = 124. He won silver in the ranks of the people of Kuopio in the spring of 2017.

– There are a lot of things I’m grateful for, but most of all the people I’ve met through sports. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way. I appreciate each of you. Next, it’s time to think about what I want to do when I grow up, Nuutinen writes.
