Mikko tells his wife I’m standing inviting the whole family together at least twice a year.
– My son and the entire family are very important to me, and it’s been great to watch how artistry is passed down to my grandchildren. It has been a pleasure to see the development of the grandchildren. There are wonderful friends there from the youngest, says Mikko.
– Today I’m inviting two little friends here, who are actually already in their early teens: Lotta and Peppi Alatalo, he introduces.
After Lota and Pepi sit down at the end of the table, Meiju Suvas asks what kind of grandfather Mikko is like.
– So exciting. He takes you on adventures, and it’s easy to talk to him, Lotta says.
Mikko performs his song for his grandchildren Guardian angel. The performance brings everyone’s emotions to the surface.
When Mikko sits back down at the table, Lotta thanks her grandfather.
– I would like to thank you because you have been here… I’m starting to cry too, he says.
– Stop, now I’m starting to cry too, Peppi interrupts.
For Lotta, Miko’s presence as a grandparent has been important.
– I think it’s wonderful that you were there. I know that in addition to my parents, I have someone else I can talk to and seek support from, Lotta says.
Peppi also wants to thank Mikko.
– You have been a really good dad. You have helped with everything and have always been a really lovely person.
