– Thank you Rita for everything now and everything to come.

– The future is over and the past has just begun.

Knuuti Liukkonen remembered his friend in an interview with Iltalehti and described the content of the novel to be published in September.

– The new book is definitely Liukkonen’s most personal. A little after halfway through the book, there is a twist where the narrator changes, and the narrator becomes the author, who is pretty much Miki himself. Not completely, but very much like Mickey, a writer character who has Mickey’s thoughts and others. Especially the latter half of the novel is the most personal material that Miki has ever written.

Liukkonen and Behm managed to stay together for about two years. The couple lived together and got engaged in 2022. They later moved apart and divorced for good in the winter of 2023. The breakup was very difficult for Liukkonen and he openly talked about it publicly.

Liukkonen was a prose writer, poet and musician. He wrote his first work White poems at only 22 years old. Throughout his career, Liukkonen was nominated for various awards. He was awarded the JH Erko writing competition in 2009 and the Nuori Pakkala prize in 2012.
