Mike Tyson has caused many a surprise in his career. Now it seems that another one may be added.
Boxing legend Mike Tyson is apparently on the verge of a comeback. As “MMA Pack” reports via Instagram, there are talks about a fight for the 57-year-old in Saudi Arabia.
There is also said to be a potential opponent: former MMA star Fedor Emelianenko. He is 47 years old and would therefore be significantly younger than Tyson. The Russian lost seven of his 47 MMA fights.
Youngest heavyweight world champion
Tyson dominated heavyweight boxing in the 1980s and 90s and is still the youngest heavyweight world champion of all time. However, he also repeatedly caused scandals – including in the fight against Evander Holyfield, whose ear he bit off in the ring in 1997.
He retired from boxing in 2005. In an interview with t-online, he looked back critically on his escapades. Here you can read more about it.
