Bodybuilder “Mighty” Mike Quinn has passed away at the age of 61, exhausted by a long illness. Quinn’s sister told about it on Facebook Kellie.
The exact cause of death is not yet known.
Quinn started training at the age of 13. Generation Iron according to him, he lifted 100 kilos from the bench in his first gym sessions, which spoke of brute strength.
He began competing in bodybuilding in his early 20s and won the amateur Mr. America contest. Quinn soon turned pro and appeared in the legendary Mr. Olympia competition four times.
The lord became known especially for his huge biceps. Quinn also appeared on the covers of magazines specializing in men’s powerlifting.
After his career, Quinn has spoken openly about steroid use. He started using substances around the age of 18.
