A fortnight of small boats accumulate in different points of the Cabrera dock, some for months, waiting to be transferred to Mallorca for dismantling and destruction. These boats, some of which are in obvious poor condition, which makes it difficult to tow them, accumulate inside drums of gasdebris and standing water. The boats, some of them in very poor navigation conditions and waterways, They remain in two points of the port of Cabrera, near the places that visitors and workers frequent. A dozen are stranded in front of houses in the park and another five are on a ramp. Inside they contain cans of gasoline, some still with fuel. Witnesses have warned of the risk posed by these bottles, with flammable gases and in full sun. Inside there is also waste and stagnant water, which is causing a mosquito plague.
The boats are marked with the dates they were intercepted. Some date back to last July.
