Midwest Fire Department rescues 200 pigs alive…

The incident happened around 4 p.m. The roof of an old pigsty partly collapsed due to heavy gusts of wind. There were 400 pigs in the stable. Half of the animals couldn’t stay there. The fire brigade was able to evacuate them. They are all in good health.

Together with the owner, the fire brigade was able to get the electricity and feeding system in the affected stable working again. This means that the remaining 200 pigs do not have to be evacuated from the part of the stable that remained intact.
