RKC Waalwijk has taken over Patrick Vroegh from Vitesse. The 22-year-old midfielder signed a three-year contract with the Brabant club from the Eredivisie. Vroegh played football in the yellow-black of Vitesse for seven years.
“Patrick fits perfectly into the RKC profile: he is young, talented and has the ambition to develop further with us,” says Frank van Mosselveld, general manager. “Despite his young age, he already has the necessary baggage and experience at both Eredivisie and European level, which makes him an extremely interesting player.”
Vroegh made his debut on October 19, 2019 in the main force of Vitesse. He played 61 games for the Arnhem club. Last season, the midfielder played 22 times in the Eredivisie, mainly as a substitute. Vroegh moves to Waalwijk because he hopes to get more playing minutes there under coach Joseph Oosting (ex-Vitesse).
Defender Melle Meulensteen just made the switch from RKC to Vitesse last week.
