Finland’s Microsoft oy is currently undergoing change negotiations, news reports Trade magazine.

According to the newspaper, the jobs of 65 people are threatened, and the negotiations concern a total of 157 people. All in all, 550 people work at Microsoft in Finland.

Microsoft has not made the change negotiations public.

Microsoft announced in January that it will cut 10,000 employees worldwide by the end of March. The reason behind the layoffs is the weakened economic situation.

At the end of June last year, the company had 221,000 employees, the majority of whom work in the United States.

Several technology giants, such as Facebook’s parent company Meta and Spotify, have announced layoffs over the past year.
