Mick Jagger with beer at the Wiener Würstelstand

Before Mick Jagger and his bandmates appear in front of around 56,000 fans in Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium on Friday evening (July 15), the rock legend stopped at a sausage stand. He treated himself to a can of beer and actually seemed to have gone unrecognized. Like a real tourist, he also uploaded the photos online. Jagger is known for doing a tourist thing at every tour stop, so now also in the Austrian capital.

Jagger wrote “Vienna by night” and showed pictures of his walk through the city center of Vienna. “See you at the show,” he told his fans. Interesting: Two people are also standing relatively uninterested at the sausage stand. Apparently, the 78-year-old’s invisibility cloak worked quite well.

The Stones are on a world tour at the moment and will be performing in Vienna in a few hours. The local heroes play picture book as the opening act. Here you can find all information at a glance. The next Germany appearance will take place on July 27th in Gelsenkirchen.
