Mick Jagger reports via video message after corona infection

Mick Jagger has announced that the Rolling Stones can return from the Covid quarantine and continue their European tour in Milan.

Tour appointment takes place

In a video on Twitter, the 78-year-old Stones singer apologized “for the inconvenience caused by the shows,” adding, “We’ll be on stage in Milan on Tuesday, so see you there.”

On June 13, 2022, Mick Jagger announced that he had tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, the Rolling Stones had to cancel their dates in Amsterdam and Bern. When Jagger announced the postponement of the shows in the Netherlands and Switzerland, he wrote on his Instagram profile: “See you soon!”. A catch-up date has been set for one of the canceled shows. The gig in Amsterdam will take place on July 7th, 2022. For fans from Switzerland, however, things are looking bad. There will be no catch-up date for Bern.

The Rolling Stones at the San Siro

So now Jagger is back with at least positive news for Italy. The Stones will play at the San Siro in Milan on June 21, 2022 – five years after their last concert in Italy.

The Rolling Stones kicked off their 60th anniversary tour in early June and have planned to play stadium concerts in Europe through the end of July.
