Mick Jagger is happy that fans are with him and not with Frans Bauer

He has recovered from corona, Mick Jagger, and that is why the concert with the Rolling Stones in the Amsterdam ArenA could continue this Thursday evening. The singer could not resist responding to the Brabant fan Corry at the start. She was very angry when the concert was canceled in June because Jagger had contracted corona. She exclaimed that she would go to Frans Bauer next time: “He is always healthy.”

Mick Jagger had also received this comment. He started his show to welcome everyone – in his best Dutch. And most of all he liked that his fans are with him and not with … Frans Bauer.

Corry would initially be unable to attend, but she was able to attend the ‘Stones’ performance, soon in Brussels. But to her great surprise, her family had arranged for her to go to the ArenA after all. The Brabant girl has been a passionate supporter of the unbreakable band for about forty years. That she had let herself go after the concert was canceled had to be taken with a grain of salt, she later said.

And Mick Jagger, in turn, probably didn’t mean it so personally.

It is not the first time that Jagger has referred to Frans Bauer. In 2017 he sang ‘Have you a moment for me’ during a concert in the GelreDome in Arnhem. The rocker posted a video of this on Instagram at the time. Bauer felt honored.

According to a number of fans on Twitter, the singer also referred to the situation surrounding farmers in the Netherlands on Thursday. “Are there any farmers in the room?” Jagger asked in Dutch. He then said that he hoped that at least those farmers would not block the roads after the concert. Afterwards, he thanked fans on Twitter for a “great evening.”
