Their debut together dates back to the 2015-2016 season. Since then, they have been reunited on and off. The current one is the eighth edition together. This time, they’re back in new guises: they are the first conductors grandparents. Scotti, in fact, has two grandchildren, Virginia and Pietroborn in 2020 and 2023 respectively.
Hunziker became a grandmother on March 30thwhen the daughter Aurora Ramazzotti gave birth to the firstborn Cesare, born from the relationship with Goffredo Cerza. A very young grandmother, since she turned 46 on January 24th. Professionally, she gets to Strip the news 2023 after the second edition of Michelle impossible & friendsaired for three episodes, always on Canale 5.
Furthermore, the association with the satirical TG is long-standing. His first season was in 2004nearly twenty years during which he led together with Ezio Greggio (longest-lived partner), Virginia Raffaele and Belén Rodriguez. Until now, presented nineteen editions, for a total of 1269 episodes.

For Gerry Scotti, on the other hand, the debut dates back to 1996, but the bets he has conducted to date are 495. Together with Michelle they reach 276, but the number is destined to rise a lot, given that they will remain at the helm of the program until the end of the season.
In a press release issued by Mediaset, Giancarlo Scheri commented on their return as follows: «One of the most loved couples on the satirical news of Cologno is back together: the one with Michelle and Gerry Scotti». The director of Canale 5 defines them as “a much appreciated tandem, for their professionalism and sympathy”.

Effectively, Scotti and Hunziker are two of the faces loved by the public, linked to Mediaset for decades. Beyond some experience at the beginning of his career and the two Sanremo Festivals in 2007 and 2018, Michelle has always worked for Canale 5 and Italia 1.
