Michelin anticipates a 2024 guide “warm in the north of Spain” with new stars

Days prior to the presentation of the Michelin guide 2024, the tire firm is accelerating with its initiatives to increase expectations. First was, on October 18, the presentation of the gala, which will take place on November 28 at the Auditori Fòrum of the Barcelona International Convention Center, in the Fòrum, and this morning there was a debate on the role of wine in gastronomy in which it was announced that, on D-day, in addition to knowing the restaurants that will be distinguished with new stars, A new award will be given: best sommelier.

And all this to frame an appointment that, in the words of the tire company’s spokespersons, is expected “warm, especially in the north of Spain”. Should it be understood, then, that important windings will be premiered in the Catalan capital, host of the gala? For example, Enjoy will finally get the third that everyone except Michelin would have given you a few years ago?

It would certainly be a good way to make up for the disappointment caused in 2011, when the 2012 guide was presented with a party (the first of its kind organized Michelin) at the El Palace Hotel: the Catalan chefs prepared it with care, dedication and exciting enthusiasm and the tire brand forgot them in the guide in a very painful way, since they only wet Àbac, when adding the second star, and Casamar, in Llafranc, by winning the first.

By then, hopefully, a few (or many) bottles of cava will have already been uncorked.
