Michael van Gerwen has qualified for the second round at the World Grand Prix in Leicester. The five-time winner convincingly defeated Gary Anderson 2-0. Dirk van Duijvenbode did not make it. The 30-year-old Westlander had to recognize his superior in defending champion Jonny Clayton: 1-2.
