Michael Kors opened a pop-up at Paris luxury department store Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées. The US brand’s temporary store is located in the atrium of the department store and looks like a private jet.
The pop-up, which looks like a deconstructed airplane, not only serves as a visual reminder of the jet-set lifestyle synonymous with Kors, but also offers customers the opportunity to get a little bit closer to the hometown of the brand, because at least become virtual Shop visitors flown to New York. The journey will be suggested by aerial photographs and customers will be able to view New York through “windows” full of cityscapes, Michael Kors announced on Wednesday.
Fashion-wise, the pop-up, which will be open until September 11th, is home to Kors’ Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
