The Internet sports broadcaster DAZN has hired Michael Ballack as an expert. The streaming service confirmed this on Thursday. The former captain of the German national soccer team is to be used for live broadcasts of the Bundesliga and Champions League from the start of the 2022/23 season.
Ballack already has experience as a TV expert. The former professional worked for the US sports broadcaster ESPN and most recently for the Telekom service MagentaTV during the EM last year. At the end of the current year, the 45-year-old will also be working for the telecommunications company during the World Cup in Qatar.
The fee-based Internet provider shows Bundesliga games live on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. In addition, he has almost all games of the premier class on offer.
