Show jumper Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann missed out on winning the Grand Prix at her own tournament.
At the end of the event, the 41-year-old took sixth place at her farm Waterkant in Pinneberg. With the 13-year-old gelding Minimax she had a drop in the jump-off.
Patrick Stühlmeyer on Drako de Maugre secured victory in the 100,000 euro test with the fastest clear ride in the jump-off.
Second was Emanuelle Gaudiano on Chalou in front of Katrin Eckermann with Chao Lee. These two pairs also remained without penalty points in the normal circulation as well as in the jump-off, but were slower than Stühlmeyer.
After the end of the tournament, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann made her way to Herning in Denmark. With her horse Messi, she has been nominated as a substitute rider for the German team at the World Championships.
