Metin Öztürk, one of the presidential candidates of the yellow and red club, met with members of the 1905 Ankara Galatasaray Managers and Businessmen’s Association (1905 AGS) for iftar.
Metin Öztürk, who made a statement at the iftar held in a hotel, stated that their first goal is to become the league champion if they come to the administration, and said, “We have a long way to go, but we have full confidence in ourselves. While visiting Anıtkabir as the president of Galatasaray on April 30 or May 21 at the latest, I will be honored to address you.” said.
Metin Öztürk stated that he is proud to be a member of 1905 AGS and thanked the chairman of the association Özgür Bayraktar and the members of the board of directors for their invitation.
Reminding that the court had an injunction for the extraordinary general assembly on Friday, April 22, Öztürk said:
“It is most likely that the injunction will be lifted. Because the two presidential candidates have taken a common stance against this injunction. However, the fact that the residence address of the person who brought this injunction case appears in Kazakhstan, I think this is a little conscious, may prolong the work. In this regard, too, Mr. Burak I would like to express my gratitude to the chairman of Elmas. If the injunction is not lifted for April 22, the club will announce an election decision for May 14. For this to happen, the chairman Burak Elmas, together with all its boards, will resign. I thank Burak Elmas for showing the stance befitting a Galatasaray president. Even though he cannot participate in the race himself, he is doing what it takes to make it happen.”
Özgür Bayraktar: “We will overcome the obstacles together”
Özgür Bayraktar, President of the 1905 Ankara Galatasaray Managers and Businessmen’s Association (1905 AGS), said that they only think about Galatasaray’s success.
Stating that they need to preserve their unity and solidarity for Galatasaray, Bayraktar said, “As the community, we should come together in love and tolerance and work for this. I would like to thank our two presidential candidates and their teams, who aspired to take office in this difficult period, on behalf of our community. Today, there are obstacles around our Galatasaray. we will overcome the obstacles together and again ‘May is ours.’ We will say and lift the trophies.” he said.
