Merz: Putin will not be successful with new attacks

BERLIN (dpa-AFX) – CDU leader Friedrich Merz has criticized Russia’s increased attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine and described them as war crimes. “We can only ask Russia again to really stop terrorizing the civilian population and bombing the country,” said the leader of the Union parliamentary group in the Bundestag on Tuesday in Berlin.
