BMW Cabriolet against AMG-Mercedes, a GTI Golf helps with the “beating”. The AMG driver ends up in the hospital with a smashed face, the men from the other cars in jail…
District Court, Room 537. Accused: Zaur D. (28). Russian, born in Chechnya. In Berlin for years (“fleeing from war”). No job, no work (“The family supports me.”).
But dangerous hobbies …
When he was arrested in Hohenschönhausen on February 15, 2022, a live pistol was lying on the sofa ready to hand and loaded, on the small table next to it a “precision slingshot with forearm support” and 596 steel balls as ammunition projectiles.
May 3, 2021, Brunnenstrasse (Wedding). Dispute at the Aral gas station: Several men in the BMW M3 Cabrio (from 74,000 euros) pursue a Mercedes Benz S63 AMG (from 160,000 euros). The driver should be given a “beating”.
A white Golf GTI (from 43,000 euros) comes as reinforcement, in which the defendant is said to have sat. At around 10:30 p.m., the AMG slows down and is surrounded.
The first punch is through the window, the driver is dragged out and finished: all the bones in the right face are broken, one eye is almost blind. Swiss watch (7850 euros) and AMG take the attackers with them.
“I’m really sorry about what happened to this man,” explains the accused through his lawyer: “But I have nothing to do with it.” The judge looks surprised: “An acquittal defense?”
Because the three men from the convertible were sentenced in March. One got 5 years and 4 months jail, the other suspended sentences (all not legally binding). For Zaur D., the prosecutor is even aiming for “seven to eight years” in prison!
The charges include dangerous bodily harm, threats, particularly aggravated robbery, predatory attacks on drivers and illegal possession of weapons. Judgment on September 6th.
