The top of the range Mercedes-Amg Cla 45S Coupè is 469 cm long, 183 cm wide and 144 cm high, while the wheelbase at 273 cm aligns with that of its sisters based on the Mfa platform. The same goes for the internal habitability, high for four adults, while the boot capacity varies, thanks to the coupé-style tail which, in addition to giving elegance to the bodywork design, allows you to satisfy a family’s desire for holidays and sporting activities while hiding a room with generous dimensions. Data is not available on the minimum capacity of the AMG Cla 45S Coupé, equal to 505 liters on the Mercedes-Benz versions (around 480 on the Amg). Compared to the latter, the interiors underline the sporting vocation of the top of the range, highlighted by supportive seats (standard or the optional Amg Performance) and ARCTIC leather upholstery, also present on the multifunction steering wheel grip. Under the hood of the Mercedes-Amg Cla 45 S pulsates the 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder 421 HP and 500 Nm of torque, downloaded to all four wheels through the 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system. The proven synergy with the 8G Speedshift Dct AMG dual clutch gearbox has also been confirmed. The structure is governed by electronically controlled shock absorbers Ride Control Amg, adjustable on three levels of rigidity to be able to range from comfort at low speed to the precision necessary at higher speeds. The car’s responses are also influenced by Dynamic Select, which acts on engine output, gear shift speed and steering consistency. Steering response based on the selected mode: Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport +, Individual and Race. The 19-inch wheels of the 45 S hide the braking system developed in collaboration with Brembo, which features red 6-piston calipers on 360 mm discs.
